4 Week Challenge: First week is done and dusted

Yehah! I've completed the first week and almost made it to the 25km. I was only missing one little teeny tiny kilometer and I am sure I will make up for it next week.

My ususal walking spot: Princess Park

What did I love about it?
Having lot's of sunshine on the way.
Feeling the energy.
Getting outdoors a lot with my little one.

Check out all my runs here on Runkeeper. After trying so many apps before to track me while on the move I must say Runkeeper is definetly the best one.

Now I am with full steam ahead into the second week.
How is your spring time going? Do you also want to get back into your fitness routine and back to healthy eating habits?

A perfect weekend and the Devilbend Fun Run

We had the perfect weekend on the Mornington Peninsula. Perfect weather, perfect food and the perfect location for a run.

But one after the other. As you already know we were sponsors of the Devilbend Fun Run this year and wanted to have a look at the day. As the run takes place on the Mornington Peninsula and the way from our home in North Melbourne on a Sunday morning would be to far we decided it is about time again for a weekend away.

On Saturday morning off we went to Mornington with some pretty awesome sunshine all around us. Our first stop was the Mitre10 on the way as we are looking for some nice timber to build a shelve. Next up is a lunch- nothing fancy, no winery but one of the best coffee places on the peninsula. The Coffee Traders Cafe is a gorgeous little cafe that offers good lunch options, good coffee and even better hot chocolates.
After that we finished of the afternoon with some vintage shopping at The Vintage Shed and a round of swimming and spa at the hotel.
The Saturday ended with a delicious pizza, cured meats and mozzarella and wine at the DOC Mornington. We love their store in Carlton and it is always difficult to get in with a pram as it is quite small but the one in Mornington is pretty big and perfect for a dinner with our sleepy baby in the pram.

On Sunday morning it was all about the run and some pretty crazy dressed participants. We from MuesliMixer say huge congratulations to all of them and hope to see you next year.
